Market Making

Market Making

Install LR·MM before you open the bot. One command. Docker only.

  1. What this is

LR·MM is a self-hosted Polymarket bot. It trades real money. Start with a small cap. The source is proprietary: github.com/thetraderedge/liquidity-rewards.

  2. What you need

Docker and Compose v2. If Docker is missing, the installer prints how to get it. The command below installs nothing else on the machine.

You need a Polymarket wallet with USDC on Polygon (chain 137) and a little POL for gas. US residents use a Polymarket US account instead of that wallet. The exchange step below says how.

  3. Download and start

This writes docker-compose.yml into ~/liquidity-rewards, pulls the images, and starts the stack.

    curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/thetraderedge/liquidity-rewards/main/install.sh | bash
  4. Open the dashboard

Open http://localhost:3001. The first screen is “Set a dashboard password”. There is no email reset. Paste the one-time setup token. The installer prints it. If you missed it, read it from the backend log:

docker compose -f ~/liquidity-rewards/docker-compose.yml logs backend | grep "setup token"

The password must be at least 10 characters. The token is 32 hex characters. It changes if the backend restarts before a password is saved.

The dashboard listens only on this computer (127.0.0.1:3001). On a VPS, use ssh -L 3001:localhost:3001. --lan publishes port 3001 on the local network, so set the password immediately.

  5. What you see next

After login, the welcome wizard explains how the bot makes and loses money. You pick an exchange, connect, set risk caps above zero, and can turn on alerts. Then you start a small agent. The first time you start an agent, type GO LIVE.

US residents use Polymarket US. Verify your identity in the Polymarket US app, create a key at polymarket.us/developer, paste it, and test the connection. Everyone else uses Polymarket international, where Polymarket allows that account.

  6. How to stop

This stops the stack on this machine.

    cd ~/liquidity-rewards
    docker compose down
  7. Update later

Run the same installer with the update flag. It downloads the compose file again, pulls images, and restarts.

    curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/thetraderedge/liquidity-rewards/main/install.sh | bash -s -- --update

If something looks wrong

  • Docker is not running. Start Docker, then run the install command again.
  • The page does not load. Use http://localhost:3001. It is bound to this computer. On a VPS, keep the SSH tunnel open.
  • The password form says forbidden. Restart the frontend container. The token is still the one in the backend log.
docker compose -f ~/liquidity-rewards/docker-compose.yml restart frontend
  • Forgot the password. Follow Resetting the dashboard password in the install guide.
